In this section, you will see how DBR77 solutions can support universities. The project was implemented at – Higher Education Institutions SRH Berlin University.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM
The DBR77 Platform is a key tool in the industry, supporting the digitalization, automation, and robotization of manufacturing companies. Digital transformation using the DBR77 Platform is a path that begins with effective data collection. This is achieved through data analysis and optimization, leading all the way to full automation of production processes. Implementing this path requires a well-developed plan, appropriate methods, and tools. Of course, collaboration with trusted partners, accessible through our platform, is also essential.
In addition, the DBR77 Educational Platform offers advanced educational solutions for universities and businesses. Above all, it utilizes state-of-the-art digital tools, such as digital twins, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), and big data technologies. For the academic sector, we offer a specially tailored version of the platform. It includes educational modules, gamification of the learning process, exam management, and a virtual academy, providing comprehensive support at every stage of education.
Benefits for universities
What can the DBR77 Platform offer universities? The DBR77 digital twin provides a unique virtual environment that replicates the operations of a manufacturing plant, making it an excellent tool for teaching students in fields such as manufacturing engineering, industrial computing, and production management.
Thanks to the digital twin, students can engage in practical learning activities aligned with European qualification standards, utilizing gamification, exams, and training modules.
Benefits for students
What does the student get? A modern tool for expanding knowledge and skills in the field of automation and digitization of manufacturing facilities, supported by visualization, simulation, and analysis of manufacturing processes.
- A modern and comprehensive tool designed to support educational processes at universities. The DBR77 platform offers an integrated environment for managing all aspects of education, enabling the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of academic programs.
- A solution that enables teaching students online or in a hybrid format. It provides teachers and students with flexibility in accessing course materials and classes, both remotely and in person, thereby increasing accessibility and convenience.
- The ability to offer customized courses that appeal to students. This allows for a creative approach to education, with the flexibility to tailor courses and materials to students’ specific needs, thereby attracting and sustaining their interest.
- Industry at your fingertips on campus. It provides tools that give students and faculty direct access to the latest industrial technologies, enhancing practical experience and preparing them for their future careers.
- Constant online access. It provides unlimited access to the platform, regardless of time or location, allowing you to learn and teach from anywhere, at any time.
- Data security and confidentiality. High security standards protect students’ personal data and course materials from unauthorized access.
- Automation of teaching processes. It streamlines educational administration by automating routine tasks such as attendance tracking, grading, and assignment management, allowing teachers to focus on teaching.
Acknowledgments
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, and in particular to the dean, Professor Michael Hartmann, and Professor Łukasz Rojek, for their exceptional collaboration, which has made it possible to develop an innovative employee training program tailored to the needs of the labor market.
We appreciate the trust placed in us and the inclusion of courses based on digital twins in the regular curriculum, an initiative that began with Piotr Wiśniewski’s visit and lecture.
At DBR77, we understand how to effectively integrate education with business and commercialize knowledge. Would you like to learn more about our program? We look forward to working with you!
