DBR77 at the 4th KI-Tag der Wirtschaft

September 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. · Werder (Havel), Brandenburg

Not every AI initiative in manufacturing pays off — and knowing which ones will is harder than picking the technology.

On September 9, DBR77 joins the 4th KI-Tag der Wirtschaft, an event hosted by the State of Brandenburg’s Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Climate Protection and Europe, as an official partner. The day brings together SMEs, researchers and technology leaders — including Tesla, Schwarz Digits, the Hasso Plattner Institute and the Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute — around one question: where does AI in business actually create value, and where does it just create noise?

Paweł Mroczkowski on where AI really pays off

DBR77 CEO Paweł Mroczkowski takes that question head-on in his Deep Dive session:

“Wo lohnt sich KI wirklich? Ein Framework für den effektiven KI-Einsatz im produzierenden Mittelstand” (“Where does AI really pay off? A framework for the effective use of AI in manufacturing SMEs”)

  • Format: Deep Dive (online)
  • Time: 1:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m.

The talk lines up directly with the day’s “Wertschöpfung mit KI” (value creation with AI) track, and lays out a practical framework manufacturing SMEs can use to separate AI investments worth making from ones that only look good on paper.

What DBR77 will show

Alongside the talk, DBR77 is bringing two pieces of its own work to the event:

  • Vision AI — how computer vision turns what’s happening on the production line into decisions, not just footage.
  • Digital Twin in VR — stepping inside a live simulation of a production or logistics process, in a headset, to test a change before committing to it.

Both tie back to the same idea driving Paweł’s talk: understand the process — and the potential impact of a change — before you invest in it.
