Production transformation from an integrator's perspective: problems and solutions

During this panel, experts discussed the changes observed in the market in recent years. They discussed the most common problems integrators face when executing contracts. The discussion focused on the discrepancy between customer requirements and the technological capabilities available to integrators.

The experts also discussed the main problem in the industry, namely the inability of small and medium-sized integrator companies to develop due to high contractual requirements in terms of financial security of transactions.

Robotisation and digitalisation – is it worth it? A case study

During this presentation, FANUC presented case studies on the implementation of robotisation in production plants. Specific projects were discussed, describing the challenges, objectives and results achieved through the use of robots. DBR77, on the other hand, presented a case study on optimising work in a production plant. A specific project was presented, explaining how digital tools were used to improve work efficiency and productivity. Both presentations will provide a better understanding of the practical benefits of robotisation and digitalisation in industry.

Bartłomiej Straszak & Piotr Wiśniewski (DBR77)

The road to digital development: a new path to success

In the panel on digital transformation, experts examined the concept of the Digital Development Path for enterprises. They analysed the differences between the DDP and traditional enterprise strategies, as well as the benefits of implementing a digital development map. The discussion also focused on the characteristics of effective digital transformation implementation, the role of artificial intelligence development in transforming enterprises, and the importance of preparing a DRD in the face of rapidly changing technologies.

Case study: digital transformation implementation

This session presented cases of planning and implementation of investments related to digital transformation, with particular emphasis on automation and robotisation from the perspective of large manufacturing companies. Based on their experience, experts discussed the need to implement investments taking into account market changes and pointed out how the lack of a plan and long-term strategy leads to serious risks in the implementation of investments. The discussion will provide a better understanding of the digital transformation process of manufacturing plants from experts who have been implementing digital transformation processes for years.

Anna Sienkiewicz (ASP Poland), Maciej Grzelązka (Wielton), Monika Malciak (FICOSA), Łukasz Szablewski (Hitachi Energy), Katarzyna Marszałkiewicz (DBR77)

Intralogistics as a driver of digital transformation

During this panel, experts will discuss the conditions that a company must meet in order to be ready for intralogistics automation, including infrastructure, operational processes and technological capabilities. We will then present the potential and limitations of selected technologies used for intralogistics automation, analysing their application in the context of specific business needs and requirements. Finally, we will address the impact of intralogistics automation on the safety of people working in the vicinity of mobile vehicles, identifying safety measures and best practices to minimise risks to employees.

AI with human face

Multimodality will be the next big step in AI. Next, we will generate touch and movement. Data sources in this area are still limited. Radio and cinema are relatively old compared to sensors and IOT. Autonomous devices have truly entered our world. Global metropolises already have robotaxis and autonomous robots in factories. Nevertheless, the main purpose of their sensors is not to touch anything :). With AI-controlled robots, however, they will have to decide for themselves how to interpret touch and movement in their surroundings and how to take part in this sensory experience.

Over the past 200 million years, mammals have developed the ability to use movement strategically. This is what the neuro cortex is responsible for. How and when will AI affect the independence of machines?

WORKSHOP: Tax cost reduction tools for growth and expansion

During the workshop, experts answered questions such as: How to define industrial relief, with particular emphasis on R&D relief in terms of taxation? How does relief differ from subsidies? What does an R&D project mean in the field of automation and robotics of technological processes? Examples of the effective use of R&D tools for expansion and reducing the need to engage own funds and tax costs were also provided.

Paweł Celiński i Dariusz Zygmuntowski (DBR77 Tax & Legal)

WORKSHOP: How can R&D relief support integrator companies?

During the workshop entitled ‘How can R&D relief support integration companies?’, experts discussed the practical application of R&D relief as an effective support tool for companies specialising in technological integration. Participants gained insight into the process of applying for R&D relief, learned which projects are eligible for support, and how to use these funds in practice to increase the innovation and competitiveness of their companies.
